School Set

  • The School Set modules are a demonstration of the technology that shows how solar cells can be utilized and enable you to test and operate them. The purpose is to enable people to sample the technology and for use as a safe solar cell teaching tool. They are quite flexible and do not shatter or break creating sharp edges like vitreous PV technology.

Energy Foil

EnergyFoils printed PV solar cell tape
  • The printed solar cells from EnergyFoils are produced on thin plastic foil which gives a high degree of flexibility that allows unique applications and integration possibilities. The Energy foil can be cut to fit your application or used in a serial connection as delivered. The Energy foil can come with a lined adhesive on the back or front side allowing you to easily use the foil as a sticker that you can attach anywhere. The Energy Foil works well with the custom designed OPV3W60V DCDC converter board for charging batteries or direct USB output. Additional electronics might be required to suit the voltage range of your application.

  • The OPV3W60V board is a customized DCDC converter kit made for high-voltage printed solar cells and low power requirements from 0.5 to 3 Watts and up to 60 Volt input. It is ideal for charging batteries and works for small energy harvesting applications, Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, charging small devices (smartphones, power banks), and powering a variety of other USB devices.

  • The OPV3W60V board with maximum power point control (MPPC) comes in 3 versions:

    • USB (2x 60V solar input, 1x USB 5V output)

    • Charger (2x 60V solar input, 1x battery charger output (e.g. Li single-cell or Pb-Acid battery), 1x load, battery not included)

    • DIY (bare board, customizable input/output, charger or USB output, soldering and electronic components required)

  • DIY Solar Lamp kit allows to build a small and simple solar lamp with flexible printed solar cells.

  • DIY Solar Lamp board for safe connection and charging, including internal switch and white LED. The board contains big pads for attaching external LEDs and/or switch. 3 pairs of cables with JST connectors for solar cells and battery connection. It makes easy the building of a small solar lamp with flexible solar cells.
